Artemis Search Partners is currently seeking a Property and Casualty Assistant for one of its insurance agency clients.

Position Title:  Property and Casualty Assistant 

Location:  Indianapolis, IN

Position Type:  Full time, permanent

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides highest level of customer service and administrative support to external and internal clients. 
  • Fields questions and provides support to clients in reference to their online inquiries.
  • Communicates with customers via email and on the phone. Provides data entry responsibilities as necessary. 
  • Provides general administrative support to multiple departments. Schedules meetings and other duties as needed.
  • Works in company database, agency management system and with document imaging system. Reviews applications and follows procedures. Provides administrative support for surplus lines filings. 
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma, some college experience preferred. 
  • Minimum 2-5 years insurance agency experience, in a customer service or administrative function. 
  • An active Indiana property/casualty license or have the ability to get it quickly.
  • Any prior experience with Professional Liability is preferred as well as any prior accounting experience. 
  • Knowledge and successful experience working with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to take initiative, manage own workload and ask questions as necessary. 
  • Ability to follow specific procedures and know when special cases occur and seek guidance.
